Terms and Conditions - Dani Hughes Yoga
About these terms
These terms apply whenever you book a class, workshop, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage or retreat, buy from the shop, or use the online class library at danihughesyoga.co.uk. By booking or buying, you agree to them.
"I", "me" and "my" mean Dani Hughes, trading as Dani Hughes Yoga, Bristol, UK. "You" means the person booking or taking part.
If you book a class through a studio or venue's own system, that studio's terms apply to the booking. These terms still cover how I run the class.
Bookings and payment
Your place is confirmed once payment is received and you get a confirmation email.
Classes and treatments must be paid for in full when you book. Retreats follow the payment terms in the Retreats section.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include any VAT that applies.
Class passes and credits are personal to you. They can't be transferred, and they expire on the date shown when you buy them.
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. If you arrive after the class has started, I may not be able to let you join, for your safety and so others aren't disturbed.
Cancellations: classes and workshops
You can cancel up to 12 hours before the class starts. Spaces are limited, and this gives someone on the waiting list time to take your place.
To cancel, use the booking system you booked through, or email info@danihughes.co.uk. The time your cancellation reaches me is the time that counts.
If I cancel a class, you'll get a full refund or credit, whichever you prefer. I'll let you know as early as I can by email or text.
Because classes are booked for a specific date, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply to them.
Retreats
Retreats have their own payment and cancellation terms, because I commit to the venue and chef well in advance. The 12-hour policy does not apply.
Health and safety
Yoga is a physical practice, and you take part at your own pace and within your own limits.
Please tell me before class about any injury, medical condition or pregnancy, and update me if anything changes.
If you're unsure whether yoga is right for you, check with your GP first.
Listen to your body. Rest or come out of a pose whenever you need to, and let me know if something doesn't feel right.
Hands-on adjustments are always optional. Tell me at any time if you'd prefer not to be touched.
When practising online, make sure your space is clear and safe, and that no one can disturb you mid-pose.
Classes, retreats and treatments are for adults aged 18 and over.
Liability
I am a qualified, insured yoga teacher and take care to teach safely. I'm not liable for injury or loss caused by you not following my guidance or not telling me about a relevant health condition.
I'm not responsible for personal belongings brought to classes, treatments or retreats.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Conduct
I want everyone to feel welcome and safe. I may refuse entry or ask someone to leave, without a refund, if their behaviour is disrespectful, unsafe or affects others' practice, or if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
My content
All classes, videos, sequences, photos and text on this website belong to me. You may not copy, record, share or sell them without my written permission.
Your personal data
I handle your personal data as set out in my Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
